Making changes is difficult at the best of times, and if you are looking for the services I provide, this is likely not the best of times in your life or that of your family. I bring that understanding to my work. You are here because you want and need support to make conflict and hurt stop.
We can't think about the future when we are in distress today. My process calms the conflict, creates a working space and breaks down your family challenges into manageable questions that have answers.

I am a professional problem solver. It's my job to hold a safe and supportive space so that you and your family can pause, regroup and make plans for the future. I guide the process, I ask questions and I document your efforts. You're making changes, you don't have to do it on your own.​​
What I Offer
MEDIATION
Mediation keeps you at the centre of the process and able to maintain your self-determination. You make your own decisions and outcomes.
Mediation can be done effectively with your lawyer present or with lawyers providing advice as needed. Mediation is effective at reducing the need for court involvement.
SUPERVISED PARENTING
​​Professional supervision ensures that the children have safe, meaningful time with their parents and that neutral and objective documention is available.
​
Parenting time can be done in the community or home. The supervisor helps set up the logistics, manage the exchanges of care and facilitates communication between parents around the children's needs.

REPORT WRITING

Professionally written reports provide a view into how your family operates and increase the depth of understanding of the family system and voice to children.

Reports are typically, but not always, ordered through the Court and are designed to answer the specific questions that the parents and Court are asking. Each report is custom to the circumstances.
FAMILY COACHING

Family coaching provides support, guidance and facilitation where parents are struggling to communicate or cooperate with each other or their children.

Each circumstance is different and the process and supports custom crafted to suit the need. Coming from a social work background the approaches and plans will be grounded in systemic assessment and practical action and goal planning.
